I Was Broken I Survived: How Meera Reclaimed Her Healing

When Meera entered the NLP Practitioner Training, the psoriasis on her hands was obvious. But it wasn’t the red patches that caught attention—it was her eyes. Guarded. Tired. Carrying the weight of unshed tears and untold stories.

She hadn’t stopped shaking hands because of others’ judgment. She had stopped because, somewhere along the way, she’d stopped feeling seen.

Years ago, after her father’s sudden death, strange flare-ups began on her skin. Doctors called it psoriasis—an autoimmune condition. But no one connected it to the grief she hadn’t processed or asked her , “And when that started… what else was happening in your life?”

At first, medications helped. The flare-ups subsided, briefly. Then came marriage. An emotionally distant husband. A mother-in-law whose words felt like tiny cuts. The medicine could no longer hold back what her soul hadn’t expressed. Her skin began to speak the words her voice never dared!
“I’m not okay.”

Even after her marriage collapsed, the condition persisted. For 15 years, Meera tried everything—medicines, therapies, energy healing. Nothing changed. She stopped believing… in healing… in herself.

Then, one day, her sister nudged her gently:
“Try this one last thing. For me.”

And that’s how she walked into Magic of Change’s NLP training.

From the start, something felt different. Magical Rafi didn’t offer solutions. He offered presence. With Clean Language that gently opened doors she hadn’t known were there. Through quiet questions, she began to access the parts of her story that had been frozen in time. In that safety, her nervous system began to settle. The real work began—not with advice, but with awareness.

She was invited to revisit her story back in time and through different lenses. What had once been a tangled mess of blame and pain began to unravel. She began to see dynamics, not just emotions. Patterns, not just people. And for the first time in years, she cried—not from helplessness, but from Clarity… from Release ! “

And then came the moment that broke something wide open.

She touched a part of herself she hadn’t dared to look at before. Beneath the sadness and exhaustion… was rage. Not the destructive kind—but a pure, raw, unexpressed energy that had been locked in her system for years. Rage at being silenced. Rage at not standing up for herself. Rage at living a life that didn’t feel like her own.

And suddenly, it all made sense. The skin, the inflammation, the unbearable itch—it wasn’t a random condition. It was her body holding everything she hadn’t been allowed to express.

Through deep-state processes, anchoring, and emotional release work, that rage found a voice. Not directed at anyone—but liberated through movement, metaphor, and embodied change. And as it was released, something else took its place.

 And something shifted.

“I was broken” became “I survived.”
“I have no control” became “I choose how I heal.”

As Meera put it, “This journey has been about emptying my head—and I will consciously choose not to put garbage back in.”

The next day itself, her body began to respond. The irritation eased. The redness faded. She smiled freely. She stopped hiding.

Because healing had never been just about her skin—it was about herself.

As Magical Rafi says:
“Where logic ends, healing begins.”

And Meera’s story is proof. She didn’t leave that room “cured.”
She left it whole.

If your body is expressing what your heart can’t… maybe it’s time to listen because sometimes, the change you need is just one insight away!
